Privacy Policy

Your privacy is fundamental to Noyto. It is our policy to respect your privacy and practice strict data minimization regarding any information we collect across our website.

1. Information We Collect

Noyto requires an account to create and manage Noytes:

• Account Details: When signing in with Google or Email, we store your email address, display name, and avatar URL to link your published Noytes to your account.
• Noyte Content: We store your markdown content, optional title, description, and custom URL slug.
• Password Protection: If you password-protect a Noyte, we store a cryptographic SHA-256 hash. We never store plain-text passwords.

2. Analytics & View Tracking

To prevent view spamming and calculate unique visitor counts, incoming IP addresses are temporarily hashed into an irreversible cryptographic string. We do not store raw IP addresses or track users across external platforms.

3. Client-Side Storage

Draft content is stored in your browser's local storage (localStorage) strictly on your device for your convenience.

4. Third-Party Services

We use Cloudflare Turnstile for bot prevention and Supabase for cloud persistence and authentication under strict security standards.
